3 Things That Make Precision Dental Different
Hi, I’m Dr Billy Choi, the principal dentist at Precision Dental here at Fortitude Valley in Brisbane.
Are you looking for a dental practice to take care of you and your family? I would love to take this opportunity to share with you our three key principles.
Our Patient’s Comfort
Many patients suffer from dental phobia and anxiety, this stops them from having the happy healthy smile that they deserve. We want to help patients overcome their fear, give them a new dental experience, so they can be on their path to a smile they love.
How we do this is by making our patients feel comfortable right from their first step into the practice.
Our reception area is designed to look and feel like a spa rather than a medical practice. We have a big screen at the front, which we don’t use to advertise or play any videos about teeth or gum, it’s a relaxation video the patient can just enjoy while they’re waiting. We have comfortable couches instead of just chairs so you can relax into them.
We have a screen on the ceiling for patients to take their minds off. We can play YouTube or your favourite show on Netflix, so it can be a good distraction for patients who just want to take their mind off.
Honesty
We make sure that we give the right information and down-to-earth, honest recommendations for our patients. We will never do unnecessary treatments. I want to think as if I’m in the patient’s shoes and what the patient would be wanting or feeling, and if it was my daughter or if it was my mother, how would I approach this issue or problem? That’s just set in my mind and it makes it more simple to solve, just tell the truth all the time, no cutting corners, no cunning, just give a professional, honest opinion.
Quality
Quality of the treatment, quality of the products, quality of the materials. I just believe getting the work done up to a high standard is the norm. There are no substandard materials that we use. If the treatment is not done up to standard, we will redo it and make it right. So personally, I want to see myself as not a big perfectionist, but I do my best when it comes to the treatment, and I do my best to provide the highest quality treatment at all times.
So I hope you get a better understanding of the three guiding principles here at Precision Dental. If you like the sound of what sets us apart from other dental clinics, we would love to look after you and your family.
Simply call us, book online on our website, or send us a DM on social media, and we’ll be in touch to help you organise your consultation. We hope to meet you soon.
