Andre, from Northgate, is a 29-year-old tradesman. He suffers from bruxism and heavy grinding. He also works in a dusty environment, making his teeth susceptible to teeth wear. He was also chewing on pills when he was younger.

When we first met Andre… he was so shy, hardly said a word, never smiled, and always covered his mouth when he talked, but he was full of hope about changing his smile. His teeth were heavily worn down, stained and broken.

Originally, he wanted his four front teeth lengthened, but after lengthy consultation, he decided to have the upper ten teeth veneered.

One of the reasons we decided to put ten veneers is that his occlusal plane (horizontal line) was skewed compared to his interpupillary line (the line between eyes’ pupils), and only doing four veneers would make his smile asymmetrical and uneven.

For his smile makeover, we started with Teeth Whitening to brighten up his smile and prepared for a brighter shade of restorations. And to finish his smile makeover, we did ten upper porcelain veneers which our Master Ceramist meticulously handcrafted. We also gave him a dental occlusal splint to protect his teeth from night grinding.
